*This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (Diamond Infra) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1 2027. At that time the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.*

About you:

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a strategic and results-drivenSenior Marketing Managerto lead marketing efforts across our entire business and asset segments. This role has a preferred location of Houston TX or Midland MI. Will also consider other United States Diamond Infrastructure Solutions key sites (Freeport Plaquemine Seadrift etc.)

This role is responsible for designing and executing market strategies that drive growth enhance competitive positioning and expand our presence across targeted end markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in market analysis competitive intelligence and strategic marketing execution with a strong ability to translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Segment Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and deploy comprehensive marketing strategies for targeted infrastructure segments including transportation utilities energy midstream and industrial markets.
  • Lead market entry and expansion strategies utilizing existing enhanced or new services offerings.
  • Align marketing initiatives with business development goals to maximize revenue and margin growth.

Market & Counterparty Analysis

  • Conduct detailed end-market analysis to identify growth opportunities customer needs and evolving trends.
  • Perform counterparty analysis to understand key stakeholders decision-makers and influencers across the value chain.
  • Collaborate with account and business development teams to refine targeting and engagement strategies.

Competitive Intelligence & Benchmarking

  • Lead competitive landscape assessments to identify threats opportunities and differentiation levers.
  • Benchmark Diamonds offerings against industry leaders to inform product positioning and innovation priorities.
  • Maintain a dynamic view of competitor activities pricing strategies and go-to-market models.

Market Participation Strategy

  • Design and implement market participation strategies that optimize channel mix pricing models and promotional tactics.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategic partnerships alliances and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Drive brand visibility and thought leadership in key industry forums and events.

Innovation & Capability Development

  • Manage the marketing innovation pipeline identifying and championing new capabilities and tools.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer engagement and data-driven decision-making

Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor and guide future junior marketers and marketing managers fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
  • 8 years of relevant experience such as strategic marketing preferably in infrastructure industrial or B2B sectors etc.
  • Proven track record in market strategy development competitive analysis and business growth.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Degree preferred in Marketing Business or related field
  • Experience with digital marketing tools CRM systems and data analytics platforms.

  • Marketing Plan Development: Market plan development is the process of defining the marketing goals objectives strategies and tactics for a target market segment aligned to the organizations market and business strategies. This includes the 4P marketing mix (product pricing place / channels promotion) sustainability strategy projected lead / opportunity pipeline and sales plan required to deliver regional or global business outcomes.
  • Market Analysis: A market analysis studies the attractiveness and the dynamics of a special market within a special industry. It is part of the industry analysis and thus in turn of the global environmental analysis. Through all of these analyses the strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats (SWOT) of a company can be identified.
  • Business Acumen: Business acumen is keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a business situation in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome. Additionally business acumen has emerged as a vehicle for improving financial performance and leadership development. Consequently several different types of strategies have developed around improving business acumen.
  • Financial Acumen: Financial Acumen is a critical skill that refers to the ability to comprehend and apply financial knowledge and insights to make informed decisions. Its the understanding of the financial effects and relationships of various aspects of your business
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Data-driven decision making is the process of making organizational decisions based on actual data rather than intuition or observation alone.
