Operations

  • Under supervision by the Manager of Supply Chain and the Clinical Manager assist in the fulfillment of in-house pre-packaged Workers Compensation medications in accordance with state federal and company policy.
  • Performs duties as assigned by the Manager of Supply Chain and the Clinical Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information ensuring information is entered correctly filling prescriptions by retrieving pharmaceutical drugs and verifying medicine is correct. Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow.
  • Reports immediately prescription fulfillment errors to the Manager of Supply Chain and the Clinical Manager.
  • Handles internal telephone calls and electronic messaging related to fulfillment of Workers Compensation medications.
  • Responds timely to partner vendor inquiries related to patient information for Workers Compensation medication.
  • Supports practice on inventory management activities such as ordering unpacking checking and storing shipment of Workers Compensation medications and designated injectables. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques shortages (merchandise billed but not received) order errors or damaged goods involving Workers Compensation medications and designated injectables.
  • Fulfil Workers Compensation medication requests immediately upon receipt and deliver directly to the ordering clinical provider or patient at the Athens main clinic. For all other locations support in the immediate electronic fulfillment to allow the ordering clinical provider team to complete delivery of medication to the patient.
  • Review daily Workers Compensation appointments in the Athens main clinic engage associated clinical teams to proactively refill medications for Workers Compensation recheck patients.
  • Assists the Manager of Supply Chain and the Clinical Manager in maintaining good relationships with the clinical provider teams and providing outstanding patient experience.
  • Assists with ensuring the Workers Comp medication and injectables are stocked with adequate supplies clean neat and orderly in condition and appearance.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • As time permits supports the clinical teams as assigned by the Clinical Manager to resolve issues including but not limited to review of wound care management orders patient inquiries and other related administrative duties.
  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
  • Outstanding daily attendance arriving on time and commitment to service excellence is a non-negotiable requirement.



Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Fluency in reading writing and speaking English.

Ability to work a full-time schedule MondayFriday 7:30 a.m.4:00 p.m.

Current certification as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment.

Strong communication and computer skills.

Preferred: Knowledge of basic inventory control.
