About the team Based in Madison WI our team of 10 Software Development Engineers supports Amazon Subsidiaries including Shopbop and Zappos within the Fashion Fitness and Creators division. We develop and maintain mission-critical applications and systems that support daily operations across multiple teams including Creative Photo Studio Catalog Operations and Merchandising. Our data integrates with front-end development teams who manage both native platforms and Amazon Marketplace presence.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence - Bachelors degree or equivalent
