Shift: 06:45 AM End Time: 03:15 PM
Travel Rate: $2648.50/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingTravel Mammography Technologist for an exciting job inFalmouth MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mammographic and stereotactic equipment maintaining MQSA compliance through quality assurance checks and documentation.
Prepare exam rooms and patient supplies for mammographic and bone density procedures.
Review requisitions radiologist reports and patient history to determine appropriate exams and clarify orders as needed.
Educate and support patients throughout the mammography process explaining screening vs. diagnostic exams.
Perform diagnostic mammograms and bone density scans ensuring image quality and patient safety.
Maintain radiology records quality control documentation and ensure proper patient identification.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies infection control and radiation safety regulations.
Participate in continuing education to maintain professional certifications and stay current with industry standards.
Provide excellent service to patients families medical personnel and coworkers.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a JCERT Accredited Radiography Program.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
ARRT Bone Density Operator certification preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Proficiency in 3D mammography.
Active Massachusetts State license for Radiology and Mammography.
Knowledge of MQSA standards and regulations.
Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
