Schedule: Full-time (Primarily at East Hills location) daylight 8 hours shifts weekends rotation no call & occasional travel to other locations.

Radiology/Imaging Services unit provides high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging services including wide range of medical imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans MRIs ultrasounds and other imaging techniques to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Valuing and ensuring patient care patient comfort safety and adherence to imaging protocols are paramount while collaborating with healthcare professionals quality control and the adoption of new technologies while maintaining quality control measures for equipment and processes adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are key functions.

How youll contribute

A Mammography Technologist who excels in this role:

• Maintains mammography quality control records and performs quality control procedures according to the American College of Radiology guidelines.
• Positions transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required.
• Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Ten percent of time responsible for student supervision assignments and evaluations.
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines and reports unsafe practices or conditions.
• Applies technical knowledge and skills necessary to maintain procedural quality standards.
• Reports the results within the specific time limits.
• Maintains effective and efficient use of reagents chemicals and supplies.

What were looking for
Applicants should be a Graduate of a school of radiologic technology Additional requirements include:

• Two years experience in radiologic Technology.

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) or ARRT (M) registry eligible.

• CPR certification.
