Building Maintenance/Fabric Engineer

Croydon/Gatwick/Surrounding Base

Permanent Full Time

Salary to 38000 Plus Vehicle Travel Paid Door to Door and Package

We are working with a national facilities management contractor who have an excellent industry reputation look after their staff well and have very established and stable contracts nationally.

Due to continued expansion we are currently looking to recruit a fabric engineer to join the team.

Role:

Carrying out a range of ppm and reactive maintenance works on commercial sites - such as train depots stations and associated buildings.
Taking deliveries of materials. Checking deliver notes and handing them to the foreman
Carrying out reactive work on all types of fabric equipment on the client asset register
Complete worksheets in a timely and efficient manner and submit to the head office each Friday
Make recommendations regarding condition of plant and submit Life Expired reports if necessary
Completing planned maintenance works in accordance with the client specification
Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing costings for any remedial works
Order job materials and submit copy paperwork to the head Office each Friday
Attend training and Health and Safety courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager
In the event of an accident report to your nominal first aider who will be introduced to you during your site induction
Complete accident report forms as directed by your Contracts Manager

Person:

You will be an experienced fabric/building maintenance engineer.
You will have good all round maintenance skills such as plumbing carpentry fabric etc.
You will have previously worked on commercial buildings.
Happy with a mobile role throughout the South - to include Croydon London South Coast

Package:

Base salary to 38000
Monday - Friday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
Company vehicle
Travel paid door to door
Callout rota 1 in 4 - 125 standby fee - 4 hour minimum paid if called out at overtime rates
Overtime available
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
