About this role:

As the Coordinator Talent Development youll play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative student-focused programs that enhance employability and career readiness. Youll lead the DeakinTALENT Career Ambassador Program managing the full student experience from recruitment and training through to supervision and professional development. Youll also oversee the DeakinTALENT International Student Careers Program creating opportunities and events that support international students to thrive in the employment market. Guided by the Manager of Talent Development youll ensure programs remain relevant responsive and aligned with DeakinTALENTs strategy while making a real impact on student success.

As a Coordinator Talent Development you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of innovative student-focused programs with creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Oversee end-to-end program and project delivery ensuring sustainable outcomes and effective use of resources time cost and quality.
  • Coach and develop DeakinTALENT Career Ambassadors fostering their growth through feedback support and development opportunities.
  • Communicate with influence and adapt messaging to engage diverse audiences and build support for talent development initiatives.
  • Drive program improvements by leveraging stakeholder insights external best practice and alignment with DeakinTALENTs strategic goals.

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Proven experience in developing and managing student employability programs
  • Track record in successfully coordinating employability related events and services
  • Passion for supporting students and fostering an inclusive engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Proficiency in collecting data and feedback for analysis on service and program evaluation.
