Nature and Scope
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides professional nursing skills in an outpatient clinic setting emphasizing disease prevention and health maintenance. The LVN works closely with the clinical staff front office staff and other related departments to support the patient and family needs.

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road Quincy CA 95971.
Compensation
Compensation Philosophy:
- We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience.
Compensation Range:
Sign on Bonus:
A sign-on bonus is being offered in the amount of $5000.00 to the successful incumbent for this position when hired in a full time employment status subject to the terms of the agreement.
New hires who accept part-time benefited employment status in this role will be offered a pro-rated sign on bonus.
Employees hired in this role in a per diem employment status are ineligible for sign on bonuses.

Qualifications
Education:
- Current CPR certification.
- Graduate from an approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program with an associates or equivalent degree.
- Current California LVN license or interim permit for LVN.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to apply good clinical judgment plan work establish priorities and maintain flexibility.
- Proficient written and verbal skills.
- Ability to instruct and teach.
- Ability to use a computer proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patients for examinations and assists clinical staff with examination procedures.
- Takes accurate vital signs performs necessary lab work and ensures that proper documentation is included in the patients record prior to providers visit.
- Notes appropriate history and reason for visit including: prenatal immunization smoking medical history
- Updates allergy and medication list.
- Updates allergy and medication list.
