Work hours: Full time 32 hours a week based on business needs within clinic hours 7:00am 5:00pm

Heres What You Need

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • No experience is required
  • 1 year of hospital or retail experience is strongly preferred.
  • RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire is required And
  • Other IV Certification is preferred
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language computers the ability to adapt to various software systems and basic math including conversions proportions ratios and algebra. The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail A strong sense of ethics Commitment to quality Time management Technology knowledge

What You Will Do

  • Timely and accurate preparation delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so varies by location.
  • Ensuring accuracy of ones own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards programs and initiatives.
  • Ongoing professional development and growth leads by example perpetuates accountability manages own time.
  • Communicate effectively develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks under the direction of designated personnel.
  • Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
