Description

The Role

As H&B Operation Specialist You will work as a part of the operations team providing general health insurance policy administration services and supporting clients in the reporting and management of ongoing services.

You will be in day to day communication liaison with Operations team Consultants Insurers and Clients.

The reporting line will be to H&B Operations Manager

Performance Objectives:

Clients

  • Support clients in the registration and de-registration of scheme members
  • Liaise with Insurers to ensure the accurate production and dispatch of health cards
  • Reconcile census for the purpose of billing
  • Manage the on-boarding of new clients
  • Support clients in the registration and intimation of new claims including document provision
  • Liaise with Insurers on the day-to-day resolution of claims monitoring against agreed service levels

Excellence

  • Follow the excellence model
  • Consistently use Benefits Engine Data Management module for managing data-related processes

Financial

  • Ensure that premiums and commissions are updated in EBS and BE on monthly basis.
  • Identify areas of for improvement in administrative processes leading to efficiencies

People

  • Complete mandated trainings
  • Work collaboratively within the office and foster an atmosphere of respect and spirited teamwork



Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Working knowledge of Excel MS Project MS Word
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Strong financial skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel MS Project MS Word
