Position: IT Systems Administrator
Location: Port Coquitlam (Head Office)
*Onsite
Pay range: $80000 $100000 based on performance and experience
We are seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Systems Administrator to join our IT this role you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and securing our organizations IT infrastructure including servers networks endpoints and cloud services. Youll play a key role in implementing security best practices identifying vulnerabilities and responding to incidents; ensuring our systems are resilient secure and reliable.

What Youll Do:
- Develop implement and maintain security policies and procedures including Azure security best practices
- Implement and enforce system hardening standards and patch management procedures
- Manage and monitor computer systems applications and networks including On-Premises and Azure IaaS and PaaS infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including those related to Office 365 and Azure services
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely including On-Premises Office 365 and Azure backups
- Assist in managing firewalls endpoint protection and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Maintain clear documentation of systems procedures and configurations
- Collaborate with other teams to support business operations
- Educate staff on security best practices and contribute to awareness initiatives
Do you fit thepart
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or at least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator including experience supporting Azure Office 365 and endpoint management
- Proven experience and knowledge of core Microsoft products such as Windows Server Active Directory and Remote Desktop Services
- Experience with security tools such as antivirus ERD IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with Azure services such as VMs Azure AD Azure Networking App Services and Azure Storage
- Experience with Office 365 services such as Exchange Online SharePoint Online and Teams
- Experience with endpoint management such as device management software deployment and policy configuration
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with identity and access management MFA and privileged access controls
- Knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
