Package range: $108057 - $128149. Package includes salary ($95630-$113411 per annum) employers superannuation and annual leave loading (salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

Were seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Human Services (Community Services) students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Cessnock Campus.

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Degree or Diploma in a Community Services related area e.g. Social Work Community Services Youth Work Alcohol and Other Drug Work Counselling Mental Health Disability and other relevant areas or equivalent.
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week Paid to Learn course.
  • Minimum of three (3) year post-qualification experience relevant to your field.

Highly desirable: NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
