As a Senior Analytics Associate in the Data and Analytics team you are an integral part of the group that innovates new product offerings to modernize data for AI and advanced analytics. You will focus on building next-generation tooling that enhances metadata quality establishes readiness for AI/ML use cases and simplifies how data is shared and consumed across the enterprise. You guide the successful launch of products gather crucial feedback and ensure top-tier client experiences. You combine product management expertise with strong knowledge of metadata data systems and emerging AI technologies to deliver solutions that make data discoverable usable and trusted at scale.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams across data foundation products engineering and business partners to proactively identify issues and design impactful solutions. Your leadership will help drive adoption of new functionalities and product features ensuring our data products meet the evolving needs of the enterprise. This role provides exposure to senior business leaders and offers opportunities to influence the direction of our data and analytics strategy.
Job responsibilities
- Breakdown complex data problems (e.g. inconsistencies duplication lack of context or structure) into structured hypothesis test plans and solution frameworks
- Independently explore analyze and manipulate data to validate approaches using Python SQL or other tools
- Shape and refine early-stage product ideas based on user needs platform gaps and feasibility constraints
- Break down requirements into epics user stories and acceptance criteria ensuring on-time delivery of features with measurable business impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data & analytics products AI/ML platform engineering and business products to proactively identify issues and design solutions
- Contribute to product documentation planning and sprint cycles while remaining deeply hands-on with data and execution
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or related field; Masters preferred
- Strong hands-on ability in Python for data manipulation logic prototyping or automation (e.g. using Pandas NumPy or similar)
- Ability to write and debug SQL queries and work with large structured/unstructured datasets
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Snowflake
- Strong communication presentation and influencing skills; ability to collaborate and build relationships across all levels including senior executives in different lines of business technology and product teams
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience using lightweight NLP libraries or string processing tools in Python
- Familiarity with metadata-related concepts catalog APIs data profiling
- Knowledge of emerging AI/ML technologies and their application in data products
