Job Summary
Position: Firefighter / EMT
This position is responsible for responding to emergency scenes (patrol fire and EMS) operating fire apparatus and equipment and performing fire and security duties.
Key Responsibilities
-
Respond to emergency calls including fire medical and security incidents.

Operate and maintain fire apparatus medical equipment and related tools.

Perform fire suppression rescue operations and first aid/EMS as required.

Conduct security patrols and monitor for potential hazards.
-
Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
EMT Certification.
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical fire or security field.

Compensation dependent on experience and certification(s).
Preferred Skills
-
Paramedic or Advanced EMT certification.
-
Hazardous Material Technician certification.
-
Firefighter I/II certification.
