Job Summary

Summary
Instruct students in STEM subjects aligned with the school curriculum. Provide support in fostering student engagement understanding and application of STEM concepts in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver instruction in STEM subjects based on established curriculum.
Support student learning through hands-on activities and guided practice.
Assist with preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
Communicate effectively with students to ensure comprehension and engagement.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Two (2) years of experience working with youth
Associates degree (or higher) OR
Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 semester-hour credits at an accredited institution (documentation required at hire)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a teacher aide
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization
