About Us

Since starting in Perth in 2012 CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working down-to-earth and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Tauranga office is looking to hire an Associate Geotechnical Engineer with 10 years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically our team is looking for an engineer who can provide analysis design and technical advice for our clients in the residential infrastructure and energy space. Our team of 25 includes two Principal Geotechnical Engineers and youll have the ability to work with them closely on a regular basis.

Our team is well-established in the Bay of Plenty region with a secondary office in Rotorua and Napier.

What Youll Need

  • A Civil Engineering Geology or Earth Science Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience ideally in a geotechnical consultancy
  • Strong land development and ground improvement experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in New Zealand
  • A full New Zealand drivers license
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
