Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating a brake press to bend form or straighten sheet metal and other materials according to specifications. This role plays a key part in ensuring that parts are produced accurately safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate brake press machines to bend and form metal to required specifications
Read and interpret blueprints work orders and production drawings
Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality; make necessary adjustments
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
Ensure proper alignment dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Work with minimal supervision while meeting production deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
12 years of experience operating a brake press or similar machinery preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers tape measure etc.)
Strong attention to detail and safety
Able to stand bend lift and perform physical tasks for 810 hour shifts
Must be reliable punctual and able to work in a team environment
