Pierce County Library System
This is a Custodian Substitute position that provides coverage for PCLS locations during the scheduled hours. Use of a PCLS fleet vehicle may be provided when available for use for work travel between assigned worksites during some shifts. The anticipated coverage of this role could float to any of 19 PCLS branch locations (travel to Anderson Island is not assigned). In addition to per hour wages individuals using personal vehicles for work travel will also receive reimbursement per policy at current rates when traveling between assigned branches during shift.
Hiring Range: $19.81 $22.97 per hour Pay Grade Range: $19.81 $27.43 per hour
Compensation
Pierce County Library System offers a compensation program which recognizes qualifications and experience relevant to each position. The starting pay is established typically within the hiring range below based upon the experience of the individual hired into the role. Eligibility for overtime is exclusive to positions which are FLSA status non-exempt below.

Position Status:Substitute
Schedule:No regular hours on call only. Substitutes are used tofill-inon a limited basis when regular employees are not available for work andmay occasionally be brought infor special projects.Substitute positions have no guaranteed hours and are limited to working a maximum of sixty-five (65) hours total per month (no more thanforty (40) hoursin one week).

Position Summary:
Performs a variety of routine custodial functions for the Pierce County Library System; cleans and maintains assigned buildings facilities and/or office areas; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Relationships:
Reports to the Custodial Supervisor; no supervisory responsibility is exercised.
