Job Description
Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer with scripting experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining efficient and scalable Python-based applications and automation scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows automate repetitive tasks and support backend services.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop test and maintain Python applications and automation scripts.
Write reusable testable and efficient code.
Automate data processing system monitoring and deployment tasks.
Integrate with APIs databases and third-party services.
Collaborate with DevOps QA and other developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing scripts and applications.
Maintain documentation for code processes and systems.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or PowerShell.
Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Cron Airflow Jenkins).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs JSON and web services.
Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Version control experience (e.g. Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to data analysis or machine learning is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
