**This position will be working 100% Remotely from your home office in India as part of a distributed team in the USA Canada Europe and several locations in India.
We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to support and enhance our applications reliability scalability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring troubleshooting issues and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless software delivery
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.
- Monitor application performance identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring application issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Manage logging monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
- Support upgrades patches and deployments ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless software functionality.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in application support & troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with JAVA Angular & MySQL database
- Hands on experience in cloud environment - AWS (especially with AWS Batch Lambda RDS ALB/EC2)
- Hands on experience in database monitoring query optimization data archivals using AWS RDS
- Hands on experience in monitoring tools like Grafana
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Understanding of APIs microservices and system integrations
- Familiarity with IaC using Terraform or AWS Cloudformation
