Position Overview We are seeking a Traveling Perfusionist to join our dedicated team. The perfusionist will provide advanced cardiopulmonary support under physician supervision operating heart/lung machines and accessory equipment primarily in the OR with potential responsibilities across Cath Lab ER and ICU.
This position follows a 13-person rotation with equal distribution of:
A 30-minute response time is required when on call.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide perfusion support for adult open-heart procedures: CABG AVR MVR Aortic Repairs AngioVac Heart Transplants ECMO Acute VADs.

Support non-cardiac procedures: Liver Transplants HIPEC ECMO (VV) Autologous Blood Recovery.

Operate & manage cardiac support devices: IABP Impella (CP 5.5 RP Flex) ProTek Duo ECMO (VA) CentriMag HeartMate 3.

Administer medications blood components and anesthetic agents under physician supervision.

Perform equipment setup operation maintenance and safety checks.

Monitor document and adjust therapies in consultation with attending physicians.

Maintain supplies and participate in policy/procedure development performance improvement and staff education.

Uphold hospital values of courtesy respect enthusiasm and teamwork in all interactions.
Qualifications -
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist preferred.

Strong technical expertise with cardiopulmonary bypass ECMO and cardiac support devices.

Ability to work in high-stress environments with critical patients.

Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.
