Position : Senior Project Manager Access & Equity Initiatives - Onsite role

Rate : open C2C

Visa: Any visa except H1B

Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PMP required) to lead initiatives focused on expanding program access and ensuring equitable participation. This role involves managing strategic projects that support workforce development policy improvements and performance management in large-scale public sector environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning execution and completion of multiple access and equity-focused initiatives.
  • Develop project management tools templates policies and procedures to guide execution.
  • Oversee project budgets ($500K) schedules risks and deliverables with accountability to stakeholders.
  • Produce regular reports presentations and metrics on progress and performance.
  • Provide leadership in workforce development and policy alignment across multiple program areas.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and decision-making frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide staff through knowledge transfer training and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent with 4 years of additional experience).
  • Valid and current PMP Certification.
  • 2 years (within the last 10 years) developing project management policies templates and tools.
  • 2 years managing projects with budgets of at least $500K in government or large organizations ($150M departmental budgets).
  • At least 1 year in a lead project management capacity.
  • Strong background in workforce development policy implementation and performance management.
  • Excellent communication reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
