We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women focusing on reproductive health pregnancy and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions ensuring the well-being of patients.
As an MD/DO Ob/Gyn you will be involved in a wide range of projects from conducting routine check-ups and screenings to performing surgical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular gynecological examinations and screenings.
- Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions and disorders.
- Monitoring and managing pregnancies including prenatal care and delivery.
- Performing surgical procedures such as hysterectomies and C-sections.
- Providing counseling on reproductive health family planning and menopausal issues.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping detailed patient records and maintaining confidentiality.
- Staying updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ob/Gyn.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of womens health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: 8a-4:30p 4-5 days per week
1:4 call rotation
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 1215 per day
Delivery Volume: 68 per month 400 annually
Case Mix: 40% OB 60% gynecology
Support Staff: 2 OB/GYNs 2 midwives
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
