Job Summary

Our Neurosciences Unit is part of our Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence and is looking for inpatient Registered Nurses to join our team!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

D5A and NIU Neurosciences are a 37-bed neuro-acute and 9 bed neuro-intercare department within a 4-time Magnet designated organization.
We provide comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke epilepsy brain injury brain tumors spinal injury and spine tumors.
Work with dedicated professionals committed to patient centered excellence. Act as an advocate for patients families and significant others. Come join a team dedicated to the culture of safety shared governance and nursing autonomy.
Team- oriented environment. This unit operates as a true team and there is always somebody to assist you when necessary!
The Neurosciences Department is composed of a collaborative team of dedicated professionals geared towards achieving excellence in patient-centered care.

SCHEDULE:

Nights 7 PM - 7 AM
Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Pay:

New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure) $41.00
Experienced RN (1 years of RN Licensure) $42.66-$65.00

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred.
Education: AND required; BSN preferred.
