Job Summary

Information Security Analyst - Governance Risk Compliance & Privacy

We are looking for candidates to work in-office (HQ in South Jordan UT) for this position!

Our team is at the forefront of protecting our companys digital assets and ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. We are currently seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our team focusing on governance risk compliance and privacy alongside hands-on work with vulnerability management and third-party solution risk management.

As an Information Security Analyst you will play a crucial role in enhancing our security posture by ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as PCI-DSS HIPAA FDA MDSAP CFATS GDPR CCPA and UCPA. You will leverage frameworks like ISO 27001 NIST and CIS Controls to develop implement and monitor security policies and procedures. Your expertise will help us manage vulnerabilities and assess the security of our third-party vendors mitigating risks and safeguarding our systems and data.

Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable mindset by showing willingness and desire to undertake any required job function including tasks or challenges never faced before. This includes being creative in devising appropriate solutions and being open to learning new skills or methodologies to effectively address and resolve unique problems or requirements.

Important Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain policies procedures and controls in accordance with ISO 27001 NIST and CIS Controls to ensure compliance with regulations like PCI-DSS FDA MDSAP CFATS GDPR CCPA and UCPA
  • Conduct regular security assessments risk analyses and compliance audits identifying vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to implement risk mitigation strategies and security enhancements
  • Manage the vulnerability management process including identification evaluation mitigation and reporting
  • Oversee third-party solution risk assessments ensuring vendors meet our security standards and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate security awareness training and promote a culture of security within the organization
  • Stay abreast of the latest security threats trends and technologies as well as changes in regulations and standards affecting security and privacy.
  • Respond to security incidents and breaches participating in investigation and remediation efforts
  • Facilitate the identification of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable the measurement of information systems control performance in meeting business objectives

What were looking for in you:

  • Associates degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is ideal
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISA CISM) are desirable but not required
  • Experience with vulnerability and incident management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001 NIST CIS Controls) and regulations (PCI-DSS FDA MDSAP CFATS GDPR CCPA UCPA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
