Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Hackensack NJ 07601
Type: Contract
Schedule:

36 hours/week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Evening/Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $55 $57/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED)for an exciting job in Hackensack NJ.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department following hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
Assess triage and prioritize patients with diverse medical and mental health needs.
Administer medications treatments and procedures safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate patients and families regarding care plans discharge instructions and follow-up requirements.
Maintain compliance with safety infection control and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 months of Emergency Department nursing experience.
Recent ED experience within the last 6 months.
Demonstrated ability to provide safe effective and efficient patient care.
Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to formulate care plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Certifications & Licenses:

Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license
BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Telemetry certification
NIHSS (Stroke Scale) certification
CEU Contact Hours (Stroke 4 hours)
