Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Type: Contract
Shift: Rotating Evenings/Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 36 hours/week Every other weekend & holiday
Travel Rate: $2423.50/week
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking TravelRegistered Nurse Emergency Roomfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
Develop implement and adjust individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed providing leadership and support to staff.
Utilize computerized nursing information systems effectively.
Support orientation training and education of ancillary staff.
Comply with hospital policies safety regulations and best practices.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities.
Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
At least 1 year of ER travel nurse experience preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain).
Successful completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams.
Proficient in IV therapy ventilator care and telemetry monitoring.
Preferred certifications: TNCC ENPC PALS and de-escalation training.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
