The GCM Sr. Specialist- Mechanical Eyewear will support and manage GCM projects for the Eyewear portfolio (Eyewear)
Reporting to the Associate Director Eyewear she/he assists the GCM and the Eyewear BDM in the areas of Portfolio development and management marketing/technical collateral assets development supporting cross-functions with specific projects and maintenance of online assets and processes. Additionally she/he will assist with product artwork briefs product set-up processes managing product benchmark data collecting competitor samples and customer feedback and other projects as deemed necessary.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities:
1. Product and technical support
a. Responsible for the creation of artwork briefs required for activation.
b. Supports the development of training tools and maintains updates on specific topics (one-pagers kill shots etc)
c. Ensures digital assets are maintained and accurate. Works closely with GMPO Marketing and Digital teams to maintain correct data on Ansell online catalogue and Ansell Earth. Ensures sustainability claims are maintained on .
2. Market Support
a. Coordinates and distributes samples to sellers and end-users as required by GCM/BDM. Supports in gathering & consolidating feedback from sellers and customers.
b. Coordinates purchasing of competitor samples for product testing with in-houseand/or external laboratories.
Supports gathering of samples market pricing information and collaterals from competition. Organizes testing of competitive products through our internal lab.
Supports the development of competitive analysis comparatives
Data analysis facilitator. Collects data from GIS and SFDC for review with BDM to discuss sales opportunities and pipeline on a monthly basis
Key Position Requirements:
Knowledge and experience
Bachelor in Marketing/ Business Administration or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience is required ideally in Marketing and/or Product Management
Languages: Fluent in English additional languages not required but preferred
PC literate: thorough knowledge of PC MS-Office (i.e. Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Personal skills
Willingness to learn flexible to adapt and to cope with different tasks simultaneously
Proactive pragmatic
Structured quality driven and capable to prioritize (with the help of the team of course).
Good communication skills team player dynamic and enthusiastic.
