Position Overview:

As a TMS SaaS Upgrades Implementation Consultant Youll play a crucial role in facilitating effective technical services to our customers collaborating closely with users customers systems administrators and other systems engineers. As part of a robust IT customer support function youll leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to detect investigate and resolve software and hardware issues related to the upgrading of their TMS SaaS solution. Primary Responsibilities:

Technical Implementation & Configuration:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the technical architecture and features of both legacy and new cloud-based TMS products.

• Perform system configuration data migration and integration testing to ensure a smooth and accurate transition of customer data and workflows.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the upgrade process working with engineering and support teams to find timely resolutions.

• transportation and maintenance operations.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

• Document all key decisions configurations and lessons learned from each upgrade project to build a robust knowledge base for future implementations.

• Collaborate with the Product team to provide feedback on the upgrade process identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proven experience in a technical implementation or consulting role preferably within the SaaS or enterprise software space.

• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) software

• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

• Proficiency with modern project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana ).

• Experience with data migration and integration processes is highly desirable.

• A passion for technology and a customer-focused mindset.

• Troubleshooting various system and server issues

• Experience in patch management MS SQL concepts and general networking

• Excellent communication skills

• Familiarity with Terminal Services / Remote Desktop

• Familiarity with IIS/Apache

• Ticket handling experience

• Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Microsoft Azure Experience

• Powershell Scripting Experience

• Windows Server and Active Directory administration
