Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensure: Active NY State License
• Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnostic testing and endoscopic procedures
• Soft Skills: Strong communication analytical and patient assessment skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
• Perform specialized tests to diagnose patients
• Determine proper courses of treatment
• Consult with a patients primary doctor and other specialists
• Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
• Analyze patient historical data
• Perform X-Ray MRI and ultrasound scanning
• Perform surgery in the digestive tract
