Assistant Professor
Ph.D. in statistics biostatistics computer science or related field.
The Department of Statistics at the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for three full-time nine-month tenure-accruing positions at the rank of assistant professor beginning August 16 2026. Applicants will have a Ph.D. in statistics biostatistics computer science or related field. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package.
We are interested in candidates with research interests in causal inference or Bayesian methodology and we also welcome strong applicants from the broader fields of statistics and machine learning. The job duties include teaching research and service.
