Job Description
POSITION: CA Workers Comp Claims Examiner III
Fully Remote
FULLTIME
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
PAY RANGE: $40-47/hr.
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Temp to hire-Self-Insured Hospital account; dedicated program. Caseload is about 120 mix of Indemnity and Medical only files.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Claims Expertise Needed: California workers compensation lost time indemnity claims experience with at least 4-5 years of experience.
- State of Residence: California. Due to the resident licensing requirement the candidate must be domiciled in the state of CA
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in a related field (preferred); three (3) to five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Technical knowledge of statutory regulations.
- Ability to work on a diary system prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to convey technical details to claimants clients and staff.
- Ability to manage employees of various skill levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- Use of computers and technology
