Working Location:
Inpatient facility in Merced CA
Working Hours/Shift:
Sunday to Thursday 6 am - 2:30 pm

This position is eligible for our Commuter Benefit Program for:
This position is eligible for commuter benefits for those who travel more than 20 miles one way from their residence to their work location.
Eligible employees approved for the Commuter Benefit Program will receive $200 per month for regular full-time employees and $100 per month for regular part-time employees
What you bring to SBHG:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets preferred. Or Six (6) months housekeeping experience in a hospital hotel motel or similar work environment.
- License or Certification Valid California Drivers License
How you will make a difference:
- Prepares food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
- Maintains logs such as cleaning logs temperature logs etc.
- Cleans and disinfect kitchen and other facility areas.
- Conducts and assists both large and small activity groups.
- Assists in teaching and educating clients in ADLs.
- Transports clients as needed in facility vehicle.
Division/Program Overview:
- 24/7 inpatient voluntary program
- 16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
- Rehabilitation/recovery services including substance use rehabilitation services
- Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
- Medication evaluation and support services
