Job Summary
Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
Schedule: 3x12 day shift (weekend rotation included)

Since opening in 1959 we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1000 employees and 300 physicians. Today we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.
How youll contribute
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)joining our team youre embracing a vital mission dedicated tomaking communities healthier. This includes:
- Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
- Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions
- Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
- Reporting any changes in physical mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
- Conducting individual and group psycho-education leisure activities and life-skill training for all patients
- Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- Handle with Care (HWC) required within 30 days of hire
- State of TN CNA license preferred
- Behavioral Health experience preferred
