Job title: Mid Market Underwriter - P&C
Salary: 47000 Bonus
Location: Hybrid working - 1 day in Bristol-based office
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are partnering with a reputable insurance company seeking a dedicated underwriting professional to join their Mid Market team. This team is responsible for handling mid-market cross-class commercial cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with cross class commercial cases over 35k GWP
Tackle larger more complex renewals and manage a specialist property portfolio
Be part of a growing area with commercial business driving long-term opportunity
Collaborate with our tied agency network the vital link to our customers
Build strong relationships resolve complex referrals and balance risk with service
Play a key role in delivering the right solutions for our members
SKILLS
A strong customer focus with excellent attention to detail
Confidence in working within a regulated environment
Ability to make sound logical decisions in a fast-paced setting
Experience in reviewing and interpreting policy documents
Proven expertise in complex and technical commercial underwriting within the insurance sector
