Position Title: RN
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Davenport East Campus
Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab! As an RN at MercyOne you will:
- Provide and direct safe effective and culturally-competent care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Key accountabilities include assessment diagnosis outcomes identification planning implementation and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
- Adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
- Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities
- During procedures the nurse will function in one of three roles with distinct competencies applied to each role: circulating nurse scrub nurse or recorder
General Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree
- Field Of Study: Nursing
- Special Training: ACLS within 6 months; Basic Life Support.
- Training Preferred: Cardiovascular or critical care experience
- Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Experience: More than 6 months preferred
