Emergency Department Registered Nurse Travel Position
Location: Beverly MA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights
Pay: $2736/week
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join on a travel contract in Beverly MA. The Emergency Nurse will provide urgent compassionate care to patients with acute medical conditions and trauma in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure adaptable and experienced in emergency and critical care nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition.
- Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with urgent and emergent medical needs.
- Administer medications IV therapies and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians specialists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely and effective care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Document assessments interventions and patient outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety policies infection control standards and emergency protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (or compact license if applicable).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong clinical assessment decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care in high-pressure emergency settings.
