This assignment is intended to be 6 months in Continuous Improvement Co-Op will work alongside CI and Operations professionals to support projects with low cost and risk for a single site/location for the Advanced Purity Solutions (APS) Division of Entegris. The intent of this role is to allow individuals to be exposed to the technical and management aspects of engineering and continuous improvement while beginning to develop an interest for longer term career Youll DoGain an understanding of the plant process and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas on such projects as: efficiency issues and waste reduction. Work with a diverse group of cross - functional areas such as safety maintenance process engineering and operations. Communicate with people diverse in language ability educational levels and experience. Implement 5S initiatives in a specified area in Chaska operation floorParticipate in focused kaizen projects to eliminate rework and waste Support and enhance problem solving at the daily tier meetingsWhat We SeekProven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and culturesBasic understanding of continuous improvement time management skills. Flexible and accountable to support needs of and positive communication skills and able to work well in group of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) Major(s) & Graduation YearPursuing B.S. Industrial Manufacturing Mechanical Electrical EngineeringPreferred graduation dates: Summer Fall 2026 or Spring Summer Fall 2027 - 2028EligibilityMust be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op programPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods at a desk using a computer. The ability to lift objects equipment or materials is a common requirement. The weight can range from 10-50 pounds. Good vision including the ability to see details perceive colors and adjust focus.
