Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist who will review and process credit memos and reconciles receivable you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader we would love to hear from you!
What youll do:
As a Accounts Receivable Specialist your key area of responsibility will be tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and customer invoices. You will need to work closely with the Finance team internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will be a highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects addition the successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
How youll make an impact:
- Process incoming files concerning billing and invoicing.
- Post payments to invoices.
- Produce monthly billing on time and accurately; responsible to ensure that past due invoices are collected and accounts are clear.
- Maintain accounting ledgers as required.
- Handle the processing of returned or rejected orders.
- Prepare RMA shipment paperwork and credits accordingly.
- Receive AR payments and entering receipts for all customer accounts.
- Monitor customer portals to ensure invoices and purchase orders are accepted in a timely manner.
- Ensure monthly billing file prepared by the carrier is reconciled to Geotabs internal billing system.
- Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information such as billing addresses and invoice numbers.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities.
- Track checks request reimbursable expenses and unbilled expenses.
- Customer liaison for invoicing billing activations terminations support tickets and order inquiries for assigned accounts.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
What youll bring to this role:
- Diploma/Degree specialization in Accounting Finance Administration or a related field.
- 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- General understanding of computerized accounting systems.
- Technical competence using software programs including but not limited to; Google Suite for business (Sheets Docs Slides) and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English (C1).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- RMA experience an asset.
- Knowledge of Dynamics AX ERP systems an asset.
- Strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
