As a Community Mental Health Recovery Practitioner youll work side-by-side with members helping them explore their recovery journey through creative therapeutic and peer-led programs. This is hands-on relational work where your professional skills meet a community-focused heart. You wont just support recoveryyoull be part of the story of transformation.

Your impact

• Provide 1:1 counselling and group supports that foster meaningful psychosocial growth.
• Co-design recovery goals with participants promoting agency and voice.
• Collaborate with Recovery Support Workers volunteers and the broader community to create safe inclusive spaces.
• Shape program content therapeutic activities and community events that strengthen connection and belonging.

What were looking for

• Diploma or higher in Counselling Social Work Psychology or Mental Health.
• Experience in therapeutic psychosocial recovery work and group facilitation.
• Commitment to trauma-informed culturally responsive and non-pathologising practice.
• Strong communication documentation and relationship-building skills.
• Required: National Police Clearance WA Drivers License First Aid Working with Children Check NDIS Screen Check.

This position is part-time offering 3 days per week.
