We are looking for a Application Support Developerto support our client based in Miami FL.
US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.
This is an hybrid position. Candidates must be located in South Florida.

The Opportunity
TECKpert is seeking anApplication Support Developerto join our team supporting our client a government agency in Miami FL. This role involves assisting in the development testing and maintenance of software applications and systems. The selected candidate will work with senior developers and analysts to translate business requirements into functional applications troubleshoot technical issues and support system enhancements.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in designing coding testing and debugging software applications.
- Modify and maintain existing applications to meet user needs.
- Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to gather and document requirements.
- Create basic reports queries and scripts to support system operations.
- Participate in software testing and quality assurance activities.
- Provide user support troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow agency coding standards.
- Support database queries updates and data validation tasks.
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to$75000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidatehas the following experience:
- Bachelors degree or masters degree in Business Administration Communication Information Systems or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development or technical support role.
- Experience with web development (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with at least one programming language (C# Java or Python).
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow technical guidance.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
