Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse activities including receiving storing picking packing and shipping goods in a safe efficient and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders.
Pick and pack customer orders accurately ensuring correct items quantities and packaging.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts pallet jacks or manual handling.
Label stage and prepare shipments according to customer and carrier specifications.
Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation cycle counts and documentation.
Safely operate warehouse equipment and promptly report maintenance needs or malfunctions.
Keep the warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety regulations.
Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience a plus but not required (training will be provided).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require standing walking bending and reaching for extended periods.
Basic math and reading skills for interpreting orders labels and inventory documents.
Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks) preferred; certification a plus.
Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required depending on materials handled.
Fast-paced physically demanding role with repetitive tasks.
