Position Overview

Qualifications
- Education:Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Licensure:Active New York State Psychologist license (required).
- Experience:Minimum 1 year of clinical experience post-licensure.
- Language:Must be fluent in Spanish.
- Work Schedule:Full-time position (Required to be on-site 1-2 days/month)

Key Responsibilities
- Use psychotherapy to improve the quality of life for individuals groups and families.
- Test and assess patients for indications of mental health disorders.
- Develop treatment plans and strategies to help patients.
- Support patients who have experienced traumatic life events.
- Provide ongoing care and evaluation to patients with long-term difficulties.
- Refer patients to other specialists or doctors as needed.
- Help patients set realistic goals and monitor their progress.
- Keep up to date with and potentially participate in new research in psychology.
