What this job involves:

• Extracting and collating information from ERP systems to file various GST returns.
• Maintaining a database for the statutory data GST department Audit and relevant supporting documents to create a proper backup of data to be used during the assessment etc.
• Analysing data required for tax computation preparing returns replying to GST notices and appearing before the GST office for a personal hearing.
• Ensuring the taxes are paid and returns are filed within the Statutory due dates.
• Handling end-to-end GST ITC mismatch.
• Handling GST IMS process
• Handling GST refunds.
• Collating all documents and information and maintaining soft copy/hard copies based on which the returns have been compiled and creation of draft assessment file.
• Maintaining a compliance register to ensure that the statutory requirements have been complied with and no deviations have been made.
• Workings closely with local consultants on GST audit and assessment matters
• Workings closely with the respective GST departmental Authorities for the purpose of responding to notices assessments or any other routine correspondence etc.
• Keeping abreast of the recent developments in law and updating the team on amendments that will impact business.
• Workings closely with the internal business teams to ensure that data required for statutory requirements is being captured accurately in the ERP.
• Frequent travel is mandatory to appear and handle the ongoing audit proceedings.

Sound like you To apply you need to be:

• Candidate should have adequate working experience & knowledge in Indirect Tax Compliance in the areas of Goods & Services Tax (GST) and knowledge of SEZ compliance imports exports and foreign trade policies will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should work closely with Tax Team for Tax Planning Advisory & Regulatory related issues.
• Solid performer who is highly ethical decisive action-oriented and team worker with high energy and a process mindset to achieve superior results.
• Should be adequately hands-on and analytical thereby capable of getting and sharing insights.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Graduate/(CA- intermediate/CS- intermediate/CWA- intermediate ) with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
