We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team at the GA Telesis Composite Repair Facility located in Ft. Lauderdale FL. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for sourcing negotiating and procuring aircraft parts materials and services required for the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components. This role ensures that all purchases comply with aviation regulations and internal quality standards while maintaining cost efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not provide visa sponsorship or accept candidates requiring sponsorship.
Responsibilities:- Source and procure aviation parts tools and materials to support maintenance and repair operations.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders and track order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors manufacturers and distributors.
- Ensure compliance with FAA EASA and company-specific regulations and quality standards (e.g. traceability certifications shelf-life requirements).
- Coordinate with maintenance quality assurance and logistics teams to fulfill material requirements.
- Identify alternate suppliers to reduce lead times and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Resolve discrepancies related to orders shipments invoices or quality issues.
- Maintain and update procurement records and supplier performance reports in the ERP/MRP system (Quantum).
- Assist with audits documentation and regulatory inspections as needed.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED: Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing experience preferably in aviation or aerospace MRO.
- Knowledge of aircraft parts and aviation-related procurement practices.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations traceability and documentation standards.
- Strong negotiation communication and organizational skills
