POLICE COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR - TUC

Salary: $63646.34 - $83531.14 Annually

Job Summary:

This recruitment will be used to establish an 18-month eligibility list to fill current and futureTucson areavacancies over the life of the list.

Under general supervision is responsible for supervising a shift of police communications personnel involved in a variety of activities within the Communications Center (e.g. receiving/dispatching of emergency/routine requests via 9-1-1/CAD for law enforcement services etc.). Analyzes situations quickly and responds with appropriate action. Performs administrative and training functions. Performs other duties as required. This is a competitive classification.

Must successfully complete the examination process.
Training and Experience Supplemental Questionnaire (Top scores to QAB.)
Qualifications Appraisal Board (QAB) - weight 100%

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Applicants must complete an examination process. A polygraph and background investigation are required for successful applicants. DPS supports a drug-free work environment through pre-employment drug testing.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business then the following requirements apply: Drivers License Requirements.
