Description

Clean Harborsis looking for aHazardous Materials Technician (Insite Chemist)to join their safety conscious team. This person would be responsible forthe performance of tasks associated with collecting segregating packing and preparing for shipment of hazardous waste in accordance with our company policies and procedures at our client locationinBerkeley CA.

Work Schedule: 09:30am-04:30pm

Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Make chemical pickups throughoutcustomer facility as directed;
Conduct chemicalbulking/consolidationasrequired;
Proper loading packing and segregation ofwastetomaximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
Ensure work area maintainedinaneat and orderly manner;
Assisting other Chemists with the execution of assigned lab pack projects;
Participate in spill responseoncustomers site as needed.

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors

High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
Hazardous waste experience preferred;
Valid Drivers License and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
