Your future team
Analytics is an important area that we investheavily in here at Axis. We do the complete end-to-end solution from edge hardware to client side. This means everything from data collection development of algorithms shape infrastructure product development and tools to build our own systems.

What will you do
In this exciting role youll lead one of our dynamic teams responsible for developing Axis state-of-the-art Video Analytics products making sure that they get the needed support and coaching. Your team is collaborating closely with the other Analytics teams other parts of Axis and with our regional sales teams we engage with end customers to learn and evaluate new functionality.
You will lead a team with a main focus on embedded development but in close collaboration with teams doing server and cloud development building scalable and secure end to end solutions for our analytic this role you will cooperate with managers and leaders in our management team and other parts of Axis R&D and technology development organization.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Lead inspire and develop your team of skilled engineers related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
- Work together with our products managers on defining roadmaps for the different areas.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our analytics area.
- Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results.
- Run the day-to-day operations as well as develop the organization to make sure that we have the right competence.
- Perform standard management tasks like development talks salary setting budgeting recruitment etc.

- You have a strong technical interest and experience in driving strategic and technical initiatives. To inspire and challenge both your manager and coworkers is something you feel comfortable with.
- You love leading from a people perspective securing a safe environment of coaching and giving feedback and collaboration identifying development needs taking actions and follow-up.

- Since we are working closely together with other departments and external stakeholders you find it easy to interact and network with individuals in other parts of the organization.
- Your team is Swedish so it is important to have an interest in learning Swedish if not bilingual.
In addition to the above you have/are:
- Strong leadership experience such as Team Lead Project Manager or Line Manager.
- A Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience leading software development teams in an Agile setup.
- Interest in developing and challenging yourself as leader and manager.
- Familiarity with managing Agile and/or DevOps teams.
- Fluent in English.
