Were looking for a Hardware Development Engineer to join the team shaping the hardware core of our this role youll work on advanced electrical and optical systems design and validate new generations of devices and ensure the robustness of systems deployed worldwide.

As part of your role you will:
Report directly to the CTO ensuring alignment of hardware activities with company goals.
Define design and validate the next generation of Pixellots hardware products (cameras processing units).
Own electrical and optical aspects of the product lifecycle from concept through large-scale deployment.
Collaborate with and oversee subcontractors for electronics and optics design manufacturing and integration.
Provide hands-on technical expertise: debugging validating and ensuring system stability in lab and field conditions.
Support the manufacturing team with technical guidance to ensure scalability high yield and continuous improvement.
Contribute to engineering-to-production process improvements increasing efficiency and reliability across thousands of deployed systems.
Collaborate closely with software mechanical and product teams ensuring holistic product delivery that meets Pixellots performance needs.
Be available for occasional travel to support subcontractors suppliers or deployments.
You should bring with you:
. in Electrical Engineering or Practical Engineer with proven relevant experience (or equivalent).
5 years of experience working on multidisciplinary systems (electronics optics embedded).
Strong expertise in electronics design and debugging (PCB power systems high-speed interfaces).
Proven ability to work independently on complex hardware issues.
Experience working with external subcontractors and suppliers (management of contractors not direct people management).
Strong end-to-end product ownership mindset from design to production.
Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional R&D teams.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with camera systems image sensors or optical integration.
Background in consumer electronics or edge devices.
Familiarity with production testing QA processes and scaling hardware manufacturing.
