Function/Duties of Position

  • To perform independent research in the Pap Family Pediatric Research Institute in the fields on liver biology and gene therapy.
  • Build a laboratory team and secure external funding for research including the NIH.
  • Supervise research assistants graduate students and postdoctoral scientists.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in a field relevant to liver biology and molecular genetics i.e. M.D. Ph.D. MD. Ph.D or DVM.
  • Research experience in developmental biology mammalian liver biology molecular genetics and gene therapy.
